A Split-Radix DCT Base Structure for Linear Phase Paraunitary Filter Banks

In this study, base on traditional lapped transform’s properties, inherit from some of the special characteristic properties of discrete cosine transform, trigonometric identities and the structure of linear phase filter banks. We present some theoretic properties in the generalized structure of linear phase paraunitary filter bank and build some examples corresponding to these properties. These properties not only improve the complexity in the coding scheme of a signal before quantized but also because of the recursive property and adopt the Split-Radix Algorithm of the discrete cosine transform, improve an effective and simplify the lapped structure of linear phase paraunitary filter banks. 1832 Chao-Hsien Tseng
